Reservations
It is best to plan a couple of weeks in advance in order to obtain services on the dates you desire. An in-home interview is required, prior to reservations, for all new clients.
For any bookings less than three visits, the first in-home interview is $15.00.
Keys
I will obtain your house key during the initial visit, when service is scheduled and agreements are signed. Keys will be either left at the residence at the end of the service or returned in person.
Extended Absence
In the event you have to be away longer than planned, it is mandatory that you contact me immediately. I am not going to leave your pet(s) uncared for, but if there would happen to be a scheduling conflict, I may need as much time as possible to accommodate you.
Cancellations
Please cancel as soon as you find out that your plans have changed.
Less than 24 hour notice for a cancellation of services is a *$25.00 fee.
Comfort Calls
Please feel free to call, text, or email me anytime to check on your pets during your absence. If you get my voicemail, please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible.
I’m Home Calls
Please remember to call, text, or email me when you have returned home safely! Otherwise, I will need to continue visiting to assure the safety and well-being of your pets. Please call ANY hour and leave a voice message that you have returned.
Visitors
Please notify me if others (maids, friends, family members, etc.) will have access to your home during your absence. You should notify anyone with access to the home that Peace of Mind Pet Care services have been engaged.
Pet Related Emergencies
In case of a pet emergency, I will transport your pet to the closest available animal clinic. I will make every effort to contact your specific Veterinarian, but in an emergency situation, I will do what I feel necessary to get your pet the care that it needs.
Unsecured Pets
I cannot be responsible for free-roaming or outdoor pets in the event of illness, injury, loss or death. It is strongly advised that all pets have some form of permanent ID and that they remain inside the home or confined to a yard or pen for their own safety and welfare in your absence.
Medication Administration
I am an experienced veterinary technician who can administer any oral or topical medication your pet may
need during my visits. Medication administration is free of charge.
Fluid Therapy
I am an experienced veterinary technician and am trained to administer subcutaneous fluids to help rehydrate cats and dogs.
Basic House Sitting Services
I can take in your mail, alternate lights, do light watering of plants, turn your Christmas Tree on and off, or do whatever you need while I’m taking care of your pets.

RATES
Rates, Payment and Cancellations
Peace of Mind Pet Care provides a variety of services to you and your pet. I will ensure that all of your routines remain in place and that your pet sitting experiences will be positive, and stress-free.
Payment
Because I have had some unfortunate past situations taking payment in the form of checks, I no longer accept checks. I regret this inconvenience, but feel it is necessary in light of significant expenses and lost time in addressing previous check payment issues.
Rates
All visits will consist of care, love, attention, exercise, feeding, watering and cleaning any bowls or litter necessary.

Standard visit: $25.00 per day

Multiple Visits: $35.00 per day

Multiple pet households or services requiring extended visit time may be subject to extra fees
Cancellations
Less than 24 hour notice for a cancellation of services is a $25.00 fee.
Cancellations 72 hours or more in advance (before start of services) there is no charge.

Peace of Mind Pet Care is owned and operated by Jennifer Bisbee. Jennifer is a Registered Veterinary Technician (R.V.T.) with over 20 years of experience working with cats, dogs, exotics, birds, horses, and small pocket pets.
Jennifer has been working as a Supervising Veterinary Technician at The Cat Doctor and Friends in Santa Clarita, California since 1998. She also does relief work for other Veterinary Hospitals in the area.
Jennifer has owned and operated Peace of Mind Pet Care since 1994.
